The 5 qualities of rats tails
January 26, 2010 1 CommentRats tails are very popular among New Zealand rugby players at the moment but are we seeing quality efforts?
Rats tails were a sort-lived trend in the 80s and the basic rule of recurring fashion is to do something a little different the next time around.
Wikipedia mentions that the new bearers are ‘growing several tails rather than just the one’ but we think there are more qualities than just multiplicity.
We think a rats tail should have at least 2 of the qualities below
- Length
- Girth
- Colour
- Multiple strands
- Elaborate base
- This sort of thing shouldn’t be allowed
- At least this one’s got some colour
- Coloured tail with a flurry at the end
- Must have at least some length
- At least it’s tucked away while its growing
- Double-barrelled with good length
- Hanging on the side but that’s about it
- Length, width and double-barrelled
- Double-barreled dreadlocked handle bars
