Robbie Robinson – ‘side mullet’ but has he done enough?

Robbie Robinson with a 'Kurt Baker' Mullet

Talented Soutland and New Zealand Maori rugby player, Robbie Robinson has spawned a new hairdo.

It’s a mullet with a twist.

I’d say it was a ‘Kurt Baker’ without the colour.

Baker used to sport a large white tuft of hair out the back, off to the left side (see below).

Robinson has chosen to go to the left with his new hairdo.

Thank you to Natasha for spotting Robinson’s new do and alerting us to it.

We were about to send our Otago/Southland correspondent out to investigate when the Maori side was announced so we decided to wait a week and venture to Rotorua to see (film and photograph) the mullet in action for ourselves.

Southland have several expressive hairdos so Robinson’s ‘Kurt Baker’ will be a welcome addition to the Stags as they set out to defend the Ranfurly Shield in this year’s NPC.
