Sevens Rugby – a cross dressing opportunity

February 8, 2010 4 Comments

According to rugby TV personality Melodie Robinson, Sevens Rugby (in Wellington at least) is an opportunity for men to explore a wider expanse of wardrobe opportunities – in particular women’s clothing.

The modern netball skirt is a dress for all

The number of men who took this opportunity was staggering and either scary or healthy depending upon your point of view.

The New Zeland netball uniform was re-designed in early 1990s by an Otago University student.

It was first worn by the Otago team in the national provincial championship before it was adopted whole scale by most of the world’s netballing fraternity.

The model seen here belongs to the Canterbury range and highlights the classic vertical look.

The Wellington Sevens provided an opportunity for men to enjoy the fitting but flexible design.

There was however one major issue that seemed to thwart the effectiveness of the cross-dressing opportunity.

Melodie Robinson identified it before the second day started and it was breasts.

Apparently the men had failed to grasp the concept …

Perhaps the men will do better next year and we will do our best to provide guidance. This girl seemed to have it together.
