Saracens new jersey borrows from NFL’s Bengals

Saracens new paying uniform bears several similarities to that of the Cincinnati Bengals from the NFL.

There are many similarities in the playing uniforms of Saracens and the Cincinnati Bengals

Similarities

• Same orange on black colours
• Similar orange tiger stripes on the shoulders
  • The Bengals are more prominent and run off the edge of the jersery arms
  • The Bengals also have a white stripe under the armpit to the base of the jersey
• Same orange stripes on the shorts

In a recent match against Castres of France, ex-All Black scrum half Justin Marshall wore a white long sleeve top underneath his jersey. The top had black tiger stripes on the sleeves providing an interesting contrast.

Marshall comes from Mataura in the Southland province of New Zealand – not a town known for it’s fashion prowess.
